Muesli Bar Homemade Recipe

Kids are back to school and here at My Little Party, we figured that a homemade Muesli Bar is just what children need to be energised at school. Here's a simple recipe, hope you and your kids enjoy it!



125 grams butter

¼ cup golden syrup

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup raisins

½ cup apricots

½ cup pumpkin seeds

½ cup almonds

½ cup self raising flour

½ cup brown sugar


Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).  Place the butter and golden syrup in a small saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring until the butter is melted.  Place the oats, raisins, dates, pumpkin seeds, almonds, flour and sugar in a large bowl and mix to combine.  Add the butter mixture and mix to combine.  Press into the base of a 20cm x 30cm tin lined with baking paper.  Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.  Cool completely in the tin before cutting into slices to serve.
